Topic: FF802 - electrical noise from some analog inputs with new computer

I'm setting up a new computer with the exact same electrical/audio connections to my FF 802 as my old machine and suddenly I'm hearing noise on a few of the channels.  I've swapped machines a couple times to ensure the noise is associated with the new computer - it definitely is.

The noise goes away if I put a ground lifter on the new computer but it does *not* go away with everything plugged into a single outlet.  Shouldn't that do basically the same thing, i.e. ensure everything is on a common ground?

Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Thanks in advance,

I have had success with products that block the usb power, such as this:

Babyface Pro FS, MSI GS66, Studio One
