Topic: Digiface USB & Fireface UCXII drop connection

Hello everyone,

I have macbook pro 16 inch with M1 Pro chip, running Montery 12.6.1. Digiface is running on Firmware v18, Driver v3.28. UCXII is running on Firmware v39 and driver v3.28.

Both interfaces keep losing the connection to my macbook for short periods. They disappear in the audio device list and then reappear. It causes short audio dropouts when using the macbook for any task. Any idea what the problem is?

Do you have direct USB connections, or something like a USB hub or extender in between the units and the computer?

I use a usb-a to usb-c adapter. I ordered a usb-b to usb-c cable. It has just arrived 10 minutes ago. I'm going to test it today.
