Topic: setting up Fireface UCX with Ableton

I'm setting up a Fireface UCX with Ableton Live 10 but for some reason in the settings every input pair on the UCX is being listed as a separate device, same with the output

This stops me from choosing the device and then choosing on each ableton track which the input is 'listened' to. If for example I choose 'Analog (1+2) (RME Fireface UCX) DX' as the input, I can only choose either channel 1 or 2 of that input pair as the input, the same with the output.

I updated the drivers, makes no difference.

Can anyone help? I'm really confused

Re: setting up Fireface UCX with Ableton

Hi

Normally it depends on the selected track type in the DAW - mono or stereo.
Do you have a Windows PC or a Mac?

I'm talking about in the SETTINGS, where you select the driver type and the input device. Here every possible input on the interface is listed as a different device

I'm on Windows 10

Sorry, my bad.
Do you have the right ASIO driver selected?
And have you opened the input and output config?

Whoa OK no idea what I did but it seems to have corrected itself!

Thanks for your help. Seems to have psychically fixed the problem smile
