Topic: Swap left/right channel

My headphones (Beyerdynamic DT1770) have cable conection on the left side. But I would prefere to have it on the right side. I could swap the headphone, but then I must swap the L/R signal/channel. Can I do it in ADI? Maybe I have overseen it.
If not, then I have to customize the connection cable.

It‘s not obvious, but setting the “Width“ parameter to –1.0 does exactly that.

Re: Swap left/right channel

If this works, it is a great idea :-)
I will check it.

Thanks!

Re: Swap left/right channel

Just had a look, it‘s in the DAC manual page 21:

Width
Defines the stereo width. 1.00 equals full stereo, 0.00 mono, -1.00 swapped channels.

Re: Swap left/right channel

"Lesen bildet" :-)

Re: Swap left/right channel

The DT1770/DT1990 PRO has angled drivers. To use it turned around would not be recommended I would assume.

Thank you. Exactly

This is what I experienced yesterday. I tried it out, and swaping the singnal via RME works prfect, but the sound was different. My suspition was the internal (angled) construction of the drivers
