Topic: ADI 2 Pro FS - two speaker pairs with knob for switching

Hello,

i´m thinking of upgrading my babyface pro fs to the ADI 2-Pro FS and i have questions
related to the outputs

1)  i want to connect 2 different speaker pairs (active-speakers) to the ADI-2 Pro FS.  since the ADI 2 Pro has no Total Mix
     is it possible to programm a knob for switching between the speaker pairs A/B-check while playing music?

2) to match volumes when switching between the speakers is it possible to save the individual output volume of
    a speaker pair?   (with the babyface pro FS this is done inside Totalmix)  Is it possible to save theses settings inside the ADI-2?

3) Does the ADI-2 Pro FS has a Mono-Function and is it possible to place this on one of the controllable buttons as "Mono-Button"
    for both Speaker-Pairs?

4) Adi 2-Pro FS will be connected to my Macbook via USB as source for audio material.  When i understand the manual right it
    will have no own Driver / TotalMix and will run as "Class Compliant".  Is the Latency similar to the Babyface Pro FS?

Hello Ramses, thanks for the link - yes i already remembering i saw that youtube video.

regarding to my questions 1-3 - is any of this possible without a combination of an extra Babyface? and without TotalMix?
its for a different setup and i won´t buy another Babyface Pro FS for this.

Q 1+2:
• connect speakers pair A to the rear XLRs or TRS,
• connect speakers pair B to the front PH1/2 TRS,
• set: “Mute v. TRS 1/2” On,
you can use “Toggle Ph/Line 1/2” to switch between them, with individual set volume for each pair.

Toggle Ph/Line 1/2 can be assigned to a button on the remote.

Q 3: ADI-2 Pro has a “Mono”-function that can be assigned to a button.

Hello KaiS,

thanks for clarification.  i think i misunderstood the connections on the back.
So the TRS output next to the XLRs is not a seperate output for second speakers and not switchable?

The back TRSs can be routed to either channel 1/2 or 3/4 in ADI-2/4 Pro SE.

In ADI-2 Pro they are fixed to channel 1/2
