I have problems with the Asio driver not working all the time.
some times the SW wil not recognize the device. or it will crash after a few minutes (no communication possible on the ASIO)
only a restart of the software works.
using WIN 11 22H2 with RME driver 1.227
Not a known issue... When that happens, does Totalmix still work normally? What kind of ASIO software are you using, what alternatives have you tested?
Wave driver no problem. windows & Spotify etc will stream audio to the UCX.
I use Smaart Suite, and after a few minutes this application crash because of the ASIO driver of RME.

Is this reproducible with other ASIO software, e.g. Reaper?
Note: I deleted three posts here (and will continue to do so) as long as these have NOTHING to do with the issue reported here from user NielsKoomen. This is about ASIO crashing, not about ASIO not working at all.

i dit a recording test for about 30min with reaper, using the ASIO, and all works fine so far.....
sofar only Smaart can let the ASIO driver crash I think.
So did you use a different driver before and did that one work without crashes? For example v1.224?
Or was 1.227 the first one you ever used?
i have used 1.222 and 1.224. all the same problem.
You will not find many Smaart Suite users here. I would suggest to check for the latest update of that suite, and / or report the crash to them. No one else has these crashes with many different software. Driver 1.222 was released October 2022, crashes would have been reported here already.
