Topic: Turning off UFX+ turns off host computer.

My UFX+ is connected via USB (using the manufacturer’s cable) to an iMac Pro. If both the interface and the computer are on and I turn off the interface it will shut off the iMac. It’s not a normal or graceful shutdown, either; it’s like you yanked the power plug out. It does this when connected via both USB or Thunderbolt (using a tb2 -> tb3 Apple adapter).

Any ideas on what’s going on with this? Other devices, when connected via USB or TB and are powered off, do not shut the computer off, and that includes other converters.

Sounds like a bug

you can just pull the usb out of the unit when finished with it, try a different usb cable, try one item at a time,
