Topic: Fireface UFX III Special Edition?

I received UFX III today and on the box there is a red "Special Edition" sticker. Does anyone know what does this stand for? Is there a non "Special Edition" version too?

Nope. This is just a reminder from distribution that the unit might not be available constantly due to ongoing chip, component and manufacturing issues. We of course hope we can ship it regularly in sufficient numbers, but the last two years have been quite different...

Re: Fireface UFX III Special Edition?

I have upgraded from FF UCX II to FF UFX III. Received it today and now have the same question.
My UFX III unit has a sticker under power plug connector that read 120 VAC. the sign on the body next to that connector says 120 - 240 VAC (world wide). Can this "special edition" be related to that the unit only should be used with 120V power line?
...though two power cables came in the package - one for 120VAC, another one for 240VAC.
I am just guessing, trying to understand what "special edition" means. Maybe there are additional features or lack of some features in comparison to "standard edition"...
Maybe this "special edition" really means nothing for us - users :-) Thanks.

That sticker just shows what power cables are in the box.
