Topic: Babyface Pro USB circuit dead?

I tried using the "iFi defender+" USB ground loop breaker and I think it ruined my USB portion of the BF Pro interface. The iFi has a 5A power input on the side of it and when I plugged a universal power switcher into this, it made a loud pop (explosion) and now the Babyface won't power on via USB bus power.

I am able to operate the BF Pro in standalone mode. The preamps are still working fine with no noise. I checked if Class Compliant mode is on and it's not. Multiple computers will not detect the BF Pro.

So is it possible that the USB circuit is toast? Can this be fixed?
