Topic: Extend the USB2 on UFX

hi guys,

i would like to hide my macpro5,1 away.
away meaning something like 5 meters.
so i need a longer usb2 cable to my old ufx.

so, would this simple cable be ok ?

nobody knows if ufx's audio can travel SAFE in a 5m usb2 cable ?

5 meters is the maximum length in the USB2 spec. The first link should be working OK in theory.

Yes, Active (powered) USB2 repeaters are working in general.
