Topic: Any way to use Ableton as a slave to Reaper?

I' not sure if my title is accurate, but basically I want to do what ReWire used to do and record instruments hosted in Ableton into Reaper.  I know there's a secret way to get ReWire running but so far it's not working.  And I wondered if TotalMix has a better solution to reroute Audio between two apps.

So I have my Ableton master sends going to Outputs 5&6 instead of 1&2, my mains.  And I see the signal showing up in the middle row of Total Mix. But how do I record that in Reaper?

I have to say there is not a day I regret blowing WAY past my budget and getting the Fireface UFX+!

UFX+, Reaper, Ableton, Mac, Drummer, Modular, Norns/PiSound/Organelle....

The same was my experience when I moved from Focusrite LS56 to UFX :-)
