I am considering changing my setup from ADAT to either Dante or MADI for small club touring live. I need to have the possibility for redundancy on my playback rig. Two laptops in synch with Ableton live. I am thinking of either going the route of two Madiface interfaces or two Digiface Dante into a something like the EXBOX.MD. I would have preferred Dante, but after doing some research it looks like most live applications are still using MADI for this purpose? Is there any reason for this that I have not figured out? Should I stay away from Dante for the kind of setup I am describing? Thanks
