Topic: [Solved] Problem using TotalMix Remote for IPad

I am using a brand new IPad Air and am having problems getting the TotalMix Remote for IPad app to connect to the host.  When I go to Host Connection Settings on the App and enter the IP Address shown in TotalMix it never shows any devices found (I have also tried to enter by Host Name).  One thing I haven't seen covered anywhere is if I can use an IPad to remote control TotalMix running on a Windows PC?  No matter what I do it says "Fireface UFX offline" in the upper right corner.  When I click on that it says "Fireface UFX Demo".  This is my first time trying to get the ipad remote to work.  Any help is much appreciated!

You can certainly run it on an iPad for a pc. I do just that as many others do. Check all your settings with the instructions as from what I remember there are a few in TotalMix you need to do. Not just the ip. Also make sure the firewall is not blocking it or your router.

I got it to work.  It was a Windows firewall issue.  Thanks for the reply.
