Topic: Firmware Update for ADI-2 (first gen)?

Hello,

I have a RME ADI-2 (the old version with a front panel similar to a FF800). I wanted to use the digital pass through mode by pressing the INPUT LEVEL button to make the LED go off, but it didn't work. It only steps through the three analog levels.

It seems that my firmware is too old (1.2 according to the startup sequence).

Is there a way of updating the ADI-2 to the lastest firmware (1.4) ?

If it is possible then by reprogramming in the factory, means sending it in.

Whether or not it's possible depends on the exact hardware version, if I'm not seriously mistaken. Please send me the unit's serial number. Or check the latest manual, I think there's some information there as well...

The changes in hardware refer to the volume-for-rear-outs option (by jumpers). Updating the firmware should work for all versions.
