Topic: Replacing HDSP 9632

Hi,

Some time soon now I will have to replace my current pc (from 2015) with a new one. Since I cannot find any modern mobos with legacy PCI slots, I will have to replace my trusty old HDSP 9632. Since I want to continue using my AO4S-192 AIO expansion board, I believe my best and only option is to find a 2nd hand HDSPe AIO.

Am I correct in assuming that the HDSPe AIO will accept the AO4S-192 AIO?

Also, will the HDSPe AIO accept the balanced breaktout cables from my 9632?

Finally, as I understand it, the HDSPe AIO Pro card will not accept the AO4S-192 AIO. Is that correct?

Sorry about all these questions, but I want to get it right.

Finally, let me just state how impressed I am with the quality of my 9632. It has served me flawlessly for over 20 years! That is incredible value for money in the computer world. Thank you so much, RME! There is nothing like you!

Best,

Magnus
