Topic: RME ADI-2 PRO FS stuck at 768K sampling when doing AD/DA conversion

Greetings to all.

I am having a problem with my RME ADI-2 PRO FS R BE being stuck (grayed) at 768K sampling when performing AD/DA conversion from the analog inputs, regardless of format PCM or DSD. I used to be able without a problem to select any available sampling rate, with a preference for 192K (DSP resource management). Most likely I am missing or mixing up some basic settings but it is driving me nuts (fear of my age catching up with me LOL). Your input will be most appreciated. I do this to apply the RME's room equalization capabilities to my analog sources (of course, using PCM conversion format).

Thanks and cheers.....................Dr.Larkos

Re: RME ADI-2 PRO FS stuck at 768K sampling when doing AD/DA conversion

If you have USB connected, ADI-2 Pro always stays with the last USB sample rate used.
• Just play a 192 kHz file.

Depending on your (Windows, Mac?) configurations this might not work, so:

Else:
ADI-2’s menu does offer a sample rate selection option:

• Unplug USB or switch off the USB source.
Set:
• SETUP/ Device Mode/DSD / Basic Mode: “AD/DA” (you might already have).
• SETUP / Options /  Clock / Clock Source: “Internal”.
• SETUP / Options /  Clock / Sample Rate : “192k”.

KaiS, Thank you very much. Your response, as usual, was both prompt and right!!
