Topic: UFX not usable on M1 Mac

Hi, I'm trying to use the UFX on M1 Mac for the first time.

Running 13.5.1

I've installed drivers and the Fireface USB Settings app sees the device, however, totalmix won't start and nothing appears in Live for output.

Any ideas?

Re: UFX not usable on M1 Mac

You have to update the UFX to USB firmware 361 - see your other post.
Follow the instructions on the RME website.
You need the 'kernel extension' driver first, v3.28. Later you can update to 4.08 if you want. There are some steps needed, security settings and such, but I’m sure it will work at the end.

And it’s even better you hadn’t to install the other driver first and all that…
