I too am suffering from intermittent left channel drop outs with my new FF800. This seems to be happening since I connected a midi keyboard. I have read other posts about this issue, but no one seems to have solved the problem or admitted that this is indeed an issue. The drop outs appear to occur more in iTunes than Logic & I have yet to try & replicate the problem using garage band.

Midi control is not enabled & I am on a Mac Pro running 10.5.4. Any help would be much appreciated.
