Topic: AES Chn 33/34 and SPDIF Chn 35/36 wrong labels (DriverKit)

Hello,
i encountered a strange behaviour in Cubase12 and Wavelab 11. The Chn AES and SPDIF labels are swapped. I can't really tell how that happened. I upgraded from a Macbook Pro M1 (which worked correctly) to Studio Mac M2 the RayDat Card is mounted in a Sonnet Echo-Express SEIII.
The Totalmix shows AES and SPDIF working correctly but in both programs Cubase and Wavelab the Channels 33/34 and 35/36 show the wrong labels. It's not a huge problem but annoying.

I run the latest drivers (DriverKit)
Ben

There is a reset somewhere in the cubase audio settings which resets the label names. Try that
Or wrong routing in tmfx
Or of course a bug in the driver

Thanks so much, will try this asap!

Hello, finally I found the time to try the 1.11 but it's still the same.  In Cubase CHN 33/34 should be 35/36 and vice versa.
Thanks, Ben

Please reset the channel assignment in Cubase one time. Also check the channels via the normal Audio MIDI Setup, Audio window, where you can select/route the system audio to AES and SPDIF.

So does it work now?

In Cubase all is fine now! Thank you.
What I can't achieve is setting the system audio in Audio Midi Setup. All is greyed out. I can't route SPDIF or AES to system audio.

Greyed out means it has been overtaken by a interface. You have to do this at the interface driver software, in this case Totalmix.
The system audio is fix on channels 1/2 you have to use Loopback 1/2 to send SPDIF or AES signals to input channels 1/2.
