Topic: 12Mic AVB iPad Pro iOS
I’m wondering if live mixing with a 12mic into the latest iPad Pro M2 iOS17 over ethernet is possible?

Couldn't find anything about AVB in iOS.
I think it is not yet implemented.

No
Some sort of standalone-functions are described on page 32 in the user manual.
Repeater and format converter from optical to BNC.
Looks like it has been possible since iOS14:

This device claims to support AVB and iPad:

I plugged the 12mic into the solo10g into iPad Pro, but I did not see any AVB I/O in any iOS audio apps…
Obviously. The conclusions that you draw from the spec sheet are more than overly optimistic. Let's stay with the facts:
- iPad support means the latest M iPad Pro with Thunderbolt USB-C port can be used. Nowhere does it say that there are any AVB features on an iPad.
- In contrary the AVB support is clearly described to be limited to 'Mac computers'.
From Sonnet:
“The Solo10G (RJ-45) would be the best, as these have AVB support, whereas, the Solo10G SFP+ does not have AVB support.
One Solo10G per iPad should allow each to connect as end-points in a network, as long as the network (switch, router, etc.) also supports AVB.
Let us know if any of this helps to clarify.
Thank you for your time.

I’m happy to try some more…if you can recommend me a switch to use with your 12Mic?!
