Topic: Babyface Pro ADAT Standalone

Hey hey!

Trying new setup with my Babyface pro.
When in standalone mode can I use/hear channels 3-8 of my ADAT?

I spent a long while searching and couldn't find anything.

No, you can’t. It’s described in the manual.

Its not clear actually.
Only mention is this from page 92

"Of the eight ADAT channels only channels 1/2 can be controlled from the Babyface Pro."

It mentions control of the channel but not audio through (or not) of the other channels.

What makes it more confusing is that you can use the change from spdif to ADAT in standalone. And when you change it to ADAT the lights go from 2 LEDs to 8 LEDs implying access to the 8 channels in standalone.

The 8 LEDs stand for ADAT protocol, not channel access.
