Most compact MIDI controllers, such as the SL Mixface and nanoKONTROL2, do not have the capability to send CCs on different MIDI channels. Because of this, I have had to set up track groupings and MIDI OX stuff, just to be able to access the 2nd and 3rd rows of the TotalMixFX software. This has been very limiting as to how I can setup this mixer software to be controlled via MIDI.

It would offer so much more flexibility, and be easier to program, if we could simply assign controls to the mixer, rather than be locked into what's baked in.
