Topic: How to control volume from your Mac

I found a way to control the volume of the RME ADI using my Mac and I wanted to write this up since it might help someone else.

This is a nice feature because I have one way to control my volume regardless of whether I'm using my laptop speakers, AirPods, or the RME ADI.

As far as I know, there are two ways to control the volume of the RME ADI series using the keyboard on my Mac.

The first option is to use SoundSource. Shoutout to AdamBier in a [previous post](https://forum.rme-audio.de/viewtopic.ph … 08#p207508) for mentioning this. The disadvantage of this software is that you need to [lower the security settings of your Mac](https://rogueamoeba.com/support/knowled … StepByStep). For me, this is too much of a compromise for such a small feature.

I then found EQMac and it works without having to do anything drastic! So I'd recommend this solution for the time being.

If anyone has found another way, please share the knowledge!

You know that RME has an app that does EVERYTHING and more than what you cn access on the front panel of the ADI-2 Pro?  It's called ADI2Remote... more info here. https://www.synthax.co.uk/latest/2023/0 … -download/

It's GREAT and I open it every time I turn on my unit.
