Topic: Digital preamp feasible? RME ADI 2/4 -> DBX Venu360 -> Sanders Model10

I'm planning on getting a pair of Sanders Model 10e electrostats next year, and they include a DBX venu360 for room correction + digital crossover for the speakers.  I have two digital sources and would like to just keep the signal digital until it hits the DBX unit which converts to analog line outs.

I currently own an RME ADI 2 FS as a DAC + headphone amp and really like the RME products so I was wondering if using the 2/4 as a digital preamp + volume control (+ some headphone amp duty).  Seems overkill but I've heard mixed things about MiniDSP / cheaper gear.

This would work.
The ADI-2/4 Pro SE is a great device.

Once in a while you will connect a vinyl turntable too smile
