I just upgraded my Macbook Pro from M1 to M3 with more RAM and SDD and migrated everything.

RME (UCX II) didn't work. So I installed 409 again. It didn't work. I went through all the available advice on the RME site, most of which does not correspond visually to the current OS version (Sonoma). Still in "Privacy and Security" as it is now called, I never got the option to "allow" RME. Restarted several times etc. to no avail.

I have finally installed 328b2 with kernel extension, and it works.  But I would rather use the driver kit version, since kernel extensions will not be possible sometime in the future. Driver kit 409 worked well on the M1 I upgraded from. On my M1 the 409 was converted from an installed kernel extension driver if that makes any difference?
