Topic: MIDI port names keep changing after Win11 update

I have two RayDAT cards in my Windows machine which I've been using for years without issue. A few months ago I upgraded to Win11 and now am getting regular updates from Microsoft. Since then (though it may be a coincidental timing) sometimes when I restart my machine and launch Cubase I find that the MIDI ports have changed name, and Cubase report missing MIDI ports (because it is looking for the "old" name). For example, what was
RayDAT MIDI Port 1
has disappeared but instead I now have
3- RayDat MIDI Port 1.

It's rather annoying having to keep rebuilding my MIDI setup in Cubase - how can I stop this from happening ?  Am running v4.46 and FW revision 19.

P.S  It's only the MIDI ports that keep on getting renumbered, not audio (fortunately) and the card order shown in Driver settings never changes
