Topic: master dsd 256 on Mac OS

Hi, I want to master DSD 256 with my ADI2 Pro SE (updated to the latest firmware) on Mac OS Sonoma 14.2.1 using either Vinyl Studio, Audiogate or Sound It! 8 Pro.

I set the ADI2 Pro in DSD (so far, so good), and I tried to put the sampling rate to DSD 256, but here is where things become complicated:

- I can only set a sampling rate in PCM 192 via Mac Audio Midi Setup, which will end up in DSD 64.

- I have another Dac Korg DS-DAC-10r, and I can easily select the sampling rate between DSD 64 to DSD 128 and this from Vinyl Studio or Audio Gate, but, as I said above, with the ADI2, it seems only possible to set an appropriate sampling rate via Audio Midi Setup and up to 192 kHz.

Your ADI-2/4 Pro SE seems to be in multichannel mode, which limits it to 192 kHz. Pull USB cable then change it at the unit's display to stereo mode.
