Topic: midi mappinq help !

hello , could someone explain to me step by step how to map midi of my akai lpd 8 so that selected pads control snapshots and selected knobs control faders ? is there somewhere a lern midi option like for example in logic x ?
I know there were several topics that talk about this but there is too much technical slang that I do not understand I need a clear explanation , thank you in advance greetings

Without knowing your interface I choosed the Babyface Pro FS user manual and on page 71 is a list with the commands to the Totalmix elements,
Snapshot 1: 36 / 54 / #F 3
Snapshot 2: 37 / 55 / G 3
Snapshot 3: 38 / 56 / #G 3
Snapshot 4: 39 / 57 / A 3
Snapshot 5: 3A / 58 / #A 3
Snapshot 6: 3B / 59 / B 3
Snapshot 7: 3C / 60 / C 4
Snapshot 8: 3D / 61 / #C 4

You have to insert these notes into the pad fields in the Akai editor software.
There is no shortcut or preset.
