Topic: Sound from input entering TotalMix but not Logic Pro

Sorry everyone I'm a noob to this interface stuff. I really need to somehow get the sound from TotalMix to get into my LogicPro audio track but it's not working no matter what I do. Is this a noob problem? I've tried troubleshooting many different ways.

Sound is definitely coming in from the channel into Totalmix. But that's not entering into Logic Pro. I've already changed system preferences so that's not the problem. Please help!

Re: Sound from input entering TotalMix but not Logic Pro

First check MacOS system preferences Security and privacy - Microphone :
There is a list with applications and a switch to enable them for the use.
Is Totalmix listed and enabled ? It should.

In Logic preferences / Audio / device : is the RME selected for input device and output device ?

In Logic create an audio track and press the R button
