Topic: Main Volume anomaly upon waking from sleep on MacOS

TotalMix v1.83
UCXII firmware v43 driver v4.08
MacOS 12.7.1

Lately something new has started to happen: Upon waking from sleep, main volume will be reset to 0dB or even higher resulting in deafening and painful loud sound. This has started after I changed the "Snapshots Do not load" from nothing to Main Volume.

For now I have changed it back to nothing, but I would like to be able to keep the main volume unaffected by snapshots without getting this level reset after waking up.

Thanks!

So I updated all relevant software, but the issue still occurs. Actually, now I have the "Snapshots Do not load" set to nothing and it doesn't make a difference, so I guess changing it to Main Volume was not what caused it.

Re: Main Volume anomaly upon waking from sleep on MacOS

So I tried quitting TotalMix before letting the computer go to sleep, and that does seem to help. The volume settings will be the way I left them upon waking up.

This is just casual observation, not scientific testing by any standard. But it does appear to be a communication error between TotalMix and the UCXII.
