After moving up from OS 12.7.2 up to 14.3 (sonoma), I was still experiencing TotalMix becoming unresponsive- requiring a force-quit.

However, this time, being a bit more patient, I tried waiting to see if TotalMix ever recovered. I discovered that if I waith 20 or 30 minutes, TotalMix does "recover" and become responsive again. However, after some time, it again becomes unresponsive, again after 20-30 minutes it does again come back.

It's a new thread, because the question is different. Switching the up-front app (using COMMAND-TAB) TotalMix may or may not appear in the menu bar. The spinning color wheel might appear depending on where the cursor is on the screen. At some point in the waiting period, the menu bar reappears, and/or the mixer reappears, but everything is still unresponsive. After another interval of time, TotalMix becomes responsive and behaves normally. But then after some other period of time it locks up again. But after another similar series of time, it recovers.
