Topic: Possible to use EQ twice ?

Hello,

is it possible to route an output with EQ back to input and use again EQ?

When i hearing Youtube for Example use first EQ for ROOMEQ and second EQ for sound manupulation.

Iam using an RME Fireface 802 USB.

Sorry, no room EQ for 802.

no i mean can reroute an audio output back to an input and use there the eq ?

The manual includes a chapter called Loopback that answers this in detail.

i read the manual and dont get the answer. i dont know is it possible or not.

The loopback function routes audio from an output to its corresponding HW input.
For example, from submix HW Output AN 1/2 to HW Input AN 1/2.
Loopback you find behind the tool symbol.

i activate the loopback but the audio doesn't go back to hardware input.
i have and audio singla from windows which came into AN 1/2 goto PH )/10 out and there is Loopback active.

It does not loop back into Totalmix but onto the channel.
The signal is now available in the DAW on input channel 13/14
Loopback directly into Totalmix would be too dangerous of feedback loop.
You can trust the Loopback button.

Yes, but this requires the use of a physical loopback, using for instance an adat cable. You can then apply another eq on the adat input and route that signal again wherever you want.
(The built in loopback function loops the output audio back to input on the driver side, so you cannot "double" the TMFX eq this way.
You could of course use TMFX's loopback, and apply another eq using your daw, but I guess that's not what you're going for here..)

No you can't with internal Loopback! In Loopback mode only the output EQ is available. Clearly shown and explained in the chapter about Loopback.
