Topic: Connect 2 Digiface Dante over MADI BNC connector

Hello,

is it possible to connect 2 Digiface Dante over the BNC MADI connectors

PC-1 --- USB --- DigifaceDante === MADI (rx/tx BNC)=== DigifaceDante --- USB --- PC-2

I want to connect 2 PCs, each connected to a Digiface Dante interface over USB.
(Each also using Dante). The 2 Digiface interface are connected over BNC Connectors (MADI).
Each PC (Digiface interface) has it's own Dante network which should be seperate but I want to share some channels
between the 2 PCs

Both computers : In the MADIface Series Settings - Options : BNC I/O set to MADI, see screenshot
Then send and receive Madi channels signals via Totalmix

can I use 5m to 10m coax cables (75 Ohm ?) - is MADI working with long coax cables properly ?

No problem.
Normal BNC cables usually are fitted with 75 Ohm connectors, your cable is only 50 Ohm, not a big difference.
Also 10m is not a big deal.
