Topic: Total Mix FX and accessibility for the Blind/Visually Impaired.

For the Devs:

Hi Folks:

I know that this subject has been addressed before but would you "please", "please", update Total Mix FX with complete keyboard access: (Tab key, arrow  keys, shortcut keys, ETC)?

I am aware of the third party access but it is far from complete access for those of us who depend on "screen reading" programs to access our computers.

We believe that this is a fair request and that you could comply if you had a desire to do so.

BTW: this also makes good business sense since the Blind community is always looking for accessible mixers and interfaces.

In America alone, it is estimated that there are 6 million Visually Impaired persons with 1 million totally Blind folks.

According to Google, world wide, there are 40-45 million totally blind persons and approx 165 million visually Impaired folks.

Please, do what's right and make your excellent product fully accessible to the Blind/Visually Impaired community.

Thanks for listening.

As a fellow blind person, I agree with everything you said. Right now, the only way for me to change audio routing is to import already-made snapshot or workspace files. Though these are very helpful, they can't be flexible.

As a good example of accessibility, Audient has done a great job with their software accessibility, and I think RME should learn from them.

Hi:

Thanks for your post.

If you have a Mackie Control surface or an XTouch, routing is very easy with Total Mix FX as is the other basic functions of a mixer EG: Volume, Pan, Mute, Solo, Select, ETC.
