Topic: Best 8 channel D/A interface for 5.1+Stereo

Hi all
I need to get a new interface to be able to monitor 5.1 and stereo. I only need analogue outputs but I want best quality converters that RME do. I've been very happily using ADI-2 DAC fs for a few years. I can't figure it out from all the many options on the site.

802 FS and UFX II now use the same converters as the UFX III (AK4490 from the slightly older model of reference converter ADI-2 Pro FS).

Thanks for the reply. So they all use the same converters as my ADI-2 Pro FS?

Yes. Only the analog section is of course different and the features.
No D/A filter, no auto reflevel and such ADI-2 DAC/Pro specific features.

But .. UFX II and UFX III:
Room EQ, crossfeed, triple SPDIF: see https://forum.rme-audio.de/viewtopic.php?id=38691
(I am not sure whether 802 FS gets this as well, AFAIR it was not yet clear / confirmed).
