Topic: ADI-2 DAC fs - problems by dropouts and ringing in high frequency

Hello,

my DAC makes problems when it is warm, it has sound dropouts and ringing in higher frequency ranges, the problems occur sporadically. Is there a solution to the problem?

PS: Furthermore, the power connection causes difficulties from time to time due to lack of contact....

Both seems to be hardware faults that might boil down to a single one.

Try a different PSU if you have:
9-15 Volt 10W (~1A), Center Pin + / positive..

If that doesn’t help, send ADI-2 DAC in for repair.

Sounds like the famous 'I did not notice the ps connector can be locked - after it was inserted deeeeep into the socket'.
