I own the Babyface Pro FS and can't imagine a more useful feature for this unit in the future than a TotalMix MIDI learn function.

The current MIDI control mapping is sufficient when you have your own controller and some free time. However, in a crisis situation such as during a live performance, this is not enough. Many times I've found myself in a situation during rehearsal where I had to use the TotalMix of my Babyface Pro with someone else's controller instead of an analog mixer. Each time, I wished I could take advantage of the powerful mixing and DSP capabilities of TotalMix for live performance, but there was no time for mapping.

On the RME website, there is an article about DiViNCi and his experiences with the Babyface Pro. He referred to the Babyface as a little Swiss army knife of an audio interface. I believe that adding the MIDI learn function would truly enhance this interface's versatility for special and crisis tasks.
