Topic: Headset an MIC1 anschließen kein Pegel.

Hallo,

Ich nutze die UCX schon seit vielen Jahren überwiegend für Audiomixing etc.

Nun wollte ich ein ganz einfaches Headset-Mikrofon  (Mono 3,5 Klinke) anschließen, bekomme aber keinen Pegel.
Habe schon ein weiteres Headset gekauft, weil ich dachte es sei defekt, aber es liegt nicht am Headset. Beide Headsets laufen an einem anderen älteren Notebook einwandfrei.
Habe schon mit den Einstellungen im Kanal rumgespielt, bekomme aber keinen Pegel.

Was könnte die Ursache sein ?

Das ist nicht kompatibel.

Consumer Headset Mikrofone benötigen eine besondere Spannung, wenn ich mich recht erinnere im Bereich 9V.
Die gibt es an einem Recording Interface nicht.

An einem Recording Interface kann man nur ein Headset mit Kondensatormikrofon anschließen, das auch Phantom Power (48V) unterstützt. Die sind jedoch recht teuer.

Ah ok......vielen Dank !
So etwas in der Art habe ich mir schon gedacht.
Ein klassisches "Zocker-Headset" kann ich dann wohl vergessen.
Gibt es denn passende Ansteck-Mikros oder Bügel-Mikrofone, die ich für diesen Zweck nutzen könnte ?

Musst Du mal selber googeln oder jemand anderes kennt ein Produkt.

Was vermutlich auch ginge, wäre Bluetooth-Headset mit diesem BT transmitter:

Es steht dynamisch aber in anderen Quellen steht es ist ein Kondensatormikrofon für Phantomspeisung 48V...
Jedenfalls mit XLR stecker also gut geeignet fürs Interface.

I assume, you tried it with an adapter on your Mic from 3,5 mm to 6,3 mm to your UFX. Right?
Did you try the other Inputs on your UCX? Not 1,2. I mean 3/4 or the analog 5/6/7/8?

I am pretty sure this should work for you if you set the corresponding Gain Setting in TotalmixFX.

Sure, no perfect gain/quality. But i think you do not expect that as you use just a simple Consumer Mic...
Works for me, too... Maybe worth to try, before buying some expensive additional HW?

Yes, I actually use a 3,5mm to 6,3mm adapter and connected it to port 3/4 yesterday too. I couldn't get a usable signal here either, but I will also try other inputs today...

Sorry, but as I mentioned this will fail, you need ~5V phantom power which none of the usual inputs will deliver you.

To be on the save side (as I never tried something like this) I would contact Thomann Support upfront, whether this is a possible solution for your headset.

Diesen Adapter besitze ich und kann bestätigen dass das Teil super gut funktioniert, sofern das Mic nicht zerstört wurde bei 48V.

YES !!!
Heute ist der Adapter gekommen und ich habe ihn soeben getestet. Damit funktioniert es einwandfrei !!!!
Ich muss nun alle meine Headsets bzw. Mikrofone nicht wegschmeißen -von denen ich dachte, sie würden nicht funktionieren- sondern kann sie alle für die jeweiligen Zwecke nutzen.
