Re: How do I connect with Yamaha A 5000 to the Babyface?

2 basic instrument cables. Unbalanced TS to TS. Go from the 2 Yamaha main outs into the INput 3 and 4 on the side of the Babyface.

Ignore what I said. I didn’t realize you have the original Babyface.

The cable you recommend is female. So, is there a male entrance in Baby Face? I couldn't see it xlr Male on babyface.

The last one, and it is the first one you mentioned
TS keyboard output to Babyface XLR input.

This is an user forum, not the official customer support!

Anyway, you can find an adequate answer in the manual (page 8) of your Babyface:

The Babyface has two analog microphone inputs that can operate as line inputs with levels up to +12 dBu, when set to 0 dB gain. The electronic input stage uses a servo balanced design which handles unbalanced and balanced signals correctly, automatically adjusting the level reference.

When using unbalanced cables with the XLR breakout cable: be sure to connect the 'ring' contact of a stereo TRS jack, and pin 3 of a XLR jack, to ground. Otherwise noise may occur, caused by the unconnected negative input of the balanced input.

And on page 80
XLR Connectors

The servo-balanced input circuitry allows to use monaural TS jacks (unbalanced) with no loss
in level.
This is the same as when using a TRS-jack with ring connected to ground.

The fact that this is a forum does not require giving wrong answers 10 times in a row. If the article I mentioned in my message had been read, this would never have happened. Even my articles are not read. Is this just a place to write nonsense?

If I answer your questions incorrectly 5 times in a row, you won't like that. Also, not reading my question (my device) is already another disrespect. Nobody has such a right.

The only thing left was if the photo of the washing machine wasn't sent to me. Look up and see, it's no different.
Please answer the question if you know it. Nobody has to answer. How difficult can it be to choose the cable that will connect my yamaha 5000 to RME?

Re: How do I connect with Yamaha A 5000 to the Babyface?

I deeply apologize the mistakes !

The TS mono jack to XLR-male cable is the right one, as you know.
And the main output of the keyboard is to connect with this cable to the XLR input of the Babyface, as you already know from the beginning.
Have you such cables ?
Is it working ?

I understand what you mean. But your 'I wait for help' looked very demanding to me, that’s why I stated this way.
Now you have the answer you was looking for and even ensured through the hints from the manual.
Unbalanced cables from TS to male XLR with pin 3 connected to ground is what you need.

Me? Maybe I don’t get what you mean by overthink.

Wrong XLR connector. It has to be male, not female.
