Topic: Playback on Logic X using new Fireface 802FS

Hi
Ive just purchased a new RME Fireface 802FS, my first time using one. I have my pre recorded tracks from Logic running and all is good. I have set up my bass guitar to record and the RME TotalMixFX interface is receiving the signal and Logic X is receiving the signal also and I can also hear the bass signal clearly as well. The issue I have is that when I press the play button on Logic X, I don't get the bass guitar sound but I do get the the bass level in the meters. I can heart all my previously recorded tracks play back but no bass guitar . When I stop the play back I can now hear my bass guitar again.

You have to decide wether you want to hear the bass thru the DAW or just direct thru the interface (Totalmix).
The routing in Totalmix has to be done manually.
Click the output channel where your speakers or the headphone are connected, then pull up the fader of the bass input channel.

In Logic you may have to switch ON "auto input monitoring"
