Topic: Help with Old PCI Card for Multiface II

Hi - I have an old Multiface II that I have been using for years, but needed a new PCI card.  I found a PCI card (v1.9), which I am using with a PCIe adapter in a Thunderbolt chassis.  This is connected to an Intel Mac running Big Sur, with updated drivers.  Problem is that the card is coming up as "MADI (4)", not Hammerfall DSP.  I am guessing that I need to reflash the card to get it to properly interface with the Multiface II.  First, have I properly diagnosed the problem (that the card needs to be flashed) and second, if so, what version of the flash tool should I be using?

I was wondering if the newer PCIe flash update would work... so, I guess that is a yes!  Thanks!

Re: Help with Old PCI Card for Multiface II

No, it won't, this is incorrect information...
The PCI card will not work with the Intel Mac at all, there aren't any suitable drivers.
The only way it would work would be under Bootcamp/Windows...
