Topic: Analog (1+2) (3- RME Hammerfall DSP) < Any idea to get the number away

Since i have changed from PCI to PCIe card several times, i now have a "3- " in the windows (what else) device name.
Any idea how to get this "number-" away and have "Analog (1+2) (RME Hammerfall DSP)" back again?

I completely uninstalled and reinstalled the driver but "3- "always comes back. sad

In case you deleted the hidden devices (1 and 2) then rebooted you should also write this, otherwise the post does not help much.

Yep smile
You have to use the Windows Device Manager and select View/Hidden Devices.
Then look for greyed out Devices and delete the ones you want.
In my case it was "Analog (1+2) (2- RME Hammerfall DSP)" & "Analog (1+2) (3- RME Hammerfall DSP)"
Then reboot and reinstall drivers.
