Topic: [Solved] TotalMix shows device I don't have.

I'm on MacOs Sonoma (v 14.5) and my TotalMix version is 1.95.

I have two devices showing in the top right drop down menu (See image below) but I only have one UCXII. Switching to the other the TotalMix top bar shows "disconnected".

What is this ghost device? Can it be removed somehow?

Serial number 12345678? This is a 'virtual' unit only. It’s possible to add such to test or prepare settings and routings for specific hardware without having it connected.
In Totalmix, go to menu 'options' > 'offline device setup...'. There you can remove the virtual unit from the list ('configured devices' on the left side).

Aha.. I see, that was exactly it. Thank you for helping me out.

Sincerely

Edit: And removing this virtual unit also seems to have fixed some weird behaviour with half dimmed buttons on my RME ARC USB.
