Topic: ADI-642 Madi output question

Hello,
We may be purchasing a Nuendo Madi rig to back up our X-48s.  For setup and testing we won't have the facility with Madi, but we have two of the ADI-642 converters available.  Does the ADI-642 output Madi without a Madi input?  If I feed it some AES and clock will I get a valid Madi output even though I have no Madi input connected to it?  I don't have the facility to check at this time.

The 642 converts AES to MADI. It does not require MADI input.

Thanks Daniel, that's perfect.  We can use our two ADI-642s for testing.
