Topic: [Solved] Fireface UC - MacOS 11.7.10 - Driver problem

Dear all,
unfortunately I have a problem with my Fireface UC connected with USB to a MacBook Pro 2013 with MacOS 11.7.10.
The Fireface UC Firmware is up to date v127 and I used the RME DriverKit Driver from this link https://rme-audio.de/de_driverKit-Info.html.
After installing the driver my Fireface is not recognized by the Fireface USB Settings. Also after restart the Fireface USB Settings app is not even starting. I have already reinstalled MacOS but without success.

Could someone support on this?

Hallo zusammen,
leider habe ich zur Zeit ein Problem mit meinem Fireface UC die per USB an einem MacBook Pro 2013 mit MacOS 11.7.10 angeschlossen ist. Das Fireface UC ist auf der neusten Firmware v127 und für die Treiberinstallation habe ich die DriverKit Treiber von diesem Link https://rme-audio.de/de_driverKit-Info.html verwendet.
Nach der Installation öffnet sich das Fenster der Fireface USB Settings aber das Fireface UC wird nicht erkannt. Unter Sicherheit und Datenschutz habe ich die entsprechende Berechtigung gesetzt. Nach dem Neustart kann ich die App Fireface USB Settings nicht mal mehr starten. Hüpft kurz in der Leiste und schließt sofort wieder.

Kann mir hier jemand weiterhelfen?

Is the UC set to Apple mode or Windows mode ?

PC or AP ?

Double-click encoder while the unit is not connected over USB to a computer but power is ON, this way you flip the two mode, the display numbers showing the letters AP (Mac) or PC (Windows).

Ahhh, I was not aware about this different modes. After switching to AP mode everything works fine.
