Topic: Using adat outputs as Loopbacks in latest Mac Os

Hello! Is there any way to use ADAT\SPDIF outputs for loopbacks in Mac Os apps like Skype? You cannot choose the channel number of audio input device in Skype audio settings, but you can change the stream of current audio device in Mac OS Audio-Midi setup.

Hi Gregg
You may have to use an additional helper software, something like Loopback from Rogue Amobea, or Blackhole or Audio-Hijack.
Apps like Skype, Teams, Zoom, OBS etc all use audio input channel 1/2 fix, therefore you have to use Totamix Loopback on channels 1/2, or use helper.

Ok, correct if I am wrong. So in Mac OS it is limited by apps design and you have to use only analog 1\2 in and out for Loopback.

Yes but it has nothing to do with MacOS it is just the way how those software is designed.
They are built upon 2 audio channel system.
Handling multichannel audio is more complex and free software will not offer this.
