Topic: ARC USB third pair of speakers and sub on/off

Hello,

I'm about to buy a UFX III and an ARC USB.
Working with 3 pairs of monitors and a sub I can't get information about the way to program the ARC.
Even on the RME website there's an very old list of commands and it is very Windows orientated.
There is a speakers A/B button on the bottom row.
Is it possible to just get speaker A/B/C toggle buttons on another row of encoder buttons?
I run my sub on a seperate output and would like to see a mute button for it.
On top of this, I don't want the talback button below the rotary, you might accidently press it and
disaster can happen.
Is this possible with the ARC?

Thanks for any answers, regards  André

Re: ARC USB third pair of speakers and sub on/off

You can freely reassign all Buttons in TM for the ARC USB.

I would recommend to download TM and setup UFXIII as an offline device. -> no need to own a physical device for this.
Here you can play and explore how it would work/behave with an ARC USB.

Re: ARC USB third pair of speakers and sub on/off

Thank you for the suggestion to use UFXIII as an offline device, it sort of got me going.
I'm slightly familiar with TM, I own a Madiface since 2011...
Just playing around now and will ask some more questions.
