Topic: Dynamic loudness for interfaces?

Hi all,

Would dynamic loudness be useful for other users of RME interfaces?

I have a Fireface 400 and I’m probably in a tiny minority who only use it for home listening - both streaming from a Mac and using the mic pres to digitise the signal from my turntable for RIAA and room eq.

I love that I have one box that does everything EXCEPT dynamic loudness, which I got very used to when I had an ADI-2 DAC and now miss.

I’d quickly buy a UCX II if loudness were added.

But would anyone else - the pros among you - find it useful?

Re: Dynamic loudness for interfaces?

Not really as I use my interface in a studio environment.

Babyface Pro Fs, Behringer ADA8200, win 10/11 PCs, Cubase/Wavelab, Adam A7X monitors.

It would, of course, be a nice option for all those who use the studio recording interface for listening to music as well.
But, as we could see already with RoomEQ and cross-feed, not feasible to be implemented on all interfaces.
