Topic: BabyFace: White noise on startup, please help!

Please help!

I just bought a new motherboard, and every time I start my computer there is a LOUD white noise from when my PC boots until I log into windows.

Sometimes it also happens when I shut down my computer or restart.

It never did this with my 10 years old system.

I am using latest firmware 226, and latest driver as of today.

What driver version is latest of today ?
What Babyface is this ? The original ? Blue or silver Babyface ?

In the Fireface Settings dialog is there any error number ?

Original Blue

No errors, and the loud white noise disappears when I log in windows.

Downgrade the (old) Babyface to firmware 225:

to see if that makes a difference. 226 is only relevant for Apple computers and did not include any fixes.

It never did this with 226 and my Old Motherboard (my old system).
