Topic: clicking when recording vocals

I have been recording vocals at 96k 24bit with the RME Micstasy and RME 9632 via ADAT and have been getting clicking, about 2 or 3 in every recording. I am using Cubase 4 and that is set to 24bit 96k. I thought it was faulty ADAT cables so I switched them, still no luck. then thought might be my computer but the task manager reads 10 to 12 percent but went ahead and started experimenting with other sample rates; tried 88.1 still clicking, went down to 44.1 and now occasional clicking but still there, most of the time I will just let the mic record air, meaning I wont say anything and can clearly see and hear the clicking went the wave is normalized. I know when it is a buffer problem it sounds like crackle and pop. I use to get this when I was using the M-audio 4/10 via firewire. But am going A/D from Micstasy so I dont think this is the problem. Also using Micstasy internal clock. Could it be that I am not using a BNC cable from the Micstasy to the 9632. PLEASE HELP.....
